Day 1 of the Pilipa’a girls Phoenix trip has come to a close.  It was a relatively quiet day for the girls after a long night of traveling.  The girls are looking forward to practice at the convention center tomorrow followed by the tournament opening ceremonies at Chase Field (home of the Arizona Diamondbacks).  Pilipa’a begins tournament play Monday morning.  Pictures and results will be posted here on Pilipaa.com each afternoon/night.  Short updates from the convention center and pictures will appear in the Flickr and Twitter feeds on the right side of pilipaa.com throughout the day when possible.
