Pilipa’a 18′s win Bronze Medal at 2005 Junior Olympic Tournament
The Pilipa’a 18′s finished 10-1 in the 2005 USA Volleyball Junior Olympics and took home the bronze medal. After a quick quarterfinal win over Renaissance VBC of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania (25-22, 25-13) Pilipa’a lost their semi-final match with eventual winner Ponce Leones of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico in three games. 25-20, 24-26, 6-15. Setter Treston Yasso and Middle Blocker Napua Canda were named to the All-Tournament Team.
Congratulations to the members of the Pilipa’a 18′s who finish their junior club career with a National Championship (2004 USA Volleyball 17′s Club Champions), Haili Volleyball Men’s B Division Championship (2004), 3rd Place Haili Volleyball Men’s A Divsion.
